Discipline: Lustreware and brush decorated porcelain
I first became fascinated by pottery aged 12. I have been a professional potter since 1974, and work with two others- Kerry Bosworth , and apprentice Pasha Manzaroli.
We make porcelain for use in the home, but specialise in brush decorated reduction fired porcelain- we are one of only a handful of potteries worldwide, to use and develop this technique. The tradition we work in was pioneered in England by William De Morgan, and continued by Pilkington Royal Lancastrian, and later by Alan Caiger Smith. The best results are hard to achieve and require close control of many variables.
Our workshop and showroom is open daily except Sundays and Bank Holidays, from 10- 5.0
We supply The British Museum; Blackwell Arts and Crafts House; The Craft Potters Association; and a number of other galleries in the South of England. We are members of the Sussex and Surrey Guilds and sell through their shops and exhibit with them.
