Ceramic lady sculpture

Ceramic lady sculpture

£79.00

This small sculpture is handmade using sheets of off-white/buff earthenware clay and the main body including the head are thrown on the pottery wheel, deformed and joined together. When the clay is leather hard the design is carved into it. Stamps are then used for adding details. Once biscuit fired, the ceramic statue is modestly decorated with oxides and colourful glazes to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay.

Please note the statue is handmade, each piece is unique and the finish may vary slightly from the image. Each piece is made to the highest standard. The actual colours of the work may differ slightly due to the different screen settings.

Dimensions: W15 x H21cm approx.

Made from: Off-white buff earthenware clay
