Blue Laced Red Wyandotte

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte

£195.00

Quite a name for a chicken isn’t it! But I do admire it’s plummage and this scarf is my take on that, with some poetic licence taken for the neck feathers. The Warp yarns are commercially dyed fine silks, used 2 and 3 fold, and the weft yarns are my usual 30/2s Chinese spun silk hand dyed in my workshop. The scarf measures approximately 12” by 68”, plus the twisted tassels at either end.

Care instructions: the scarf can be washed in tepid water with a detergent, (I use shampoo), and is best hung up to dry and then steam pressed to bring out the natural sheen of the silk.

Item price includes gift box and UK postage.
