One of an edition limited to 99 of this design. Full size 20cm long triangular body in copper/silver/gold mix glass.. Viewing object is a rotateable hollow glass sphere containing lampworked coloured glass shapes drifting in oil. The optical system produces an unbounded image, extending outwards in all directions, shifting as the sphere is rotated and continuing to move as the contents drift to rest.

About the maker
Frank Higgins runs the UK’s only studio dedicated to the design and creation of “serious” kaleidoscopes, bringing twenty years of experience in glasswork to bear in developing this unique craft. Frank’s work is collected worldwide and won awards at the International exhibition “Kaleidoscopes – 200 years”.
