'Gothic' Cathedralscope
One of a Limited Edition of 99 in this design. Blue/violet mix glass with decorative metalwork, 23cm long. Viewing object is a large glass cone with around 60 individual glass facets (millefiori, dichroic glass, jewels etc) rotating on a vertical axle. This is our personal favourite design and creates large, richly coloured images resembling a medieval Rose Window.

About the maker
Frank Higgins runs the UK’s only studio dedicated to the design and creation of “serious” kaleidoscopes, bringing twenty years of experience in glasswork to bear in developing this unique craft. Frank’s work is collected worldwide and won awards at the International exhibition “Kaleidoscopes – 200 years”.
