'Rococo' Tumblescope
One of an edition limited to 99 of this design. Full size 19cm long triangular body in violet/turquoise/copper mix glass. Viewing object is an axle-mounted glass tumblewheel containing lampworked glass arabesques and dichroic glass shapes. The image is unbounded, extending outwards in all directions and will never repeat once the chamber contents have tumbled.

About the maker
Frank Higgins runs the UK’s only studio dedicated to the design and creation of “serious” kaleidoscopes, bringing twenty years of experience in glasswork to bear in developing this unique craft. Frank’s work is collected worldwide and won awards at the International exhibition “Kaleidoscopes – 200 years”.
