Palmtop size, 15cm long, in red/violet mix glass. Viewing object is a glass tumblewheel 65mm dia. containing flameworked and dichroic glass in a full palette of colours. This provides intricate detail in the image, which changes and never repeats as the wheel is turned and the pieces tumble.

About the maker
Frank Higgins runs the UK’s only studio dedicated to the design and creation of “serious” kaleidoscopes, bringing twenty years of experience in glasswork to bear in developing this unique craft. Frank’s work is collected worldwide and won awards at the International exhibition “Kaleidoscopes – 200 years”.
